SPOTLIGHT ON A PRACTICE
TO LOVE & SPREAD AROUND!!
Collective Access for Sins Invalid

This is a statement and a practice I have never heard of, and not been part of. It's the kind of practice that makes my heart break from the potential to have it be EVERYWHERE. What if every Event Planner in every city in your state, province, neck of the woods, opened up the definition of 'Accessibility' and ADA Standards to include this?

As part of the Fragrance Free in '23 Challenge, make a copy of the following accessibility practices to your next community board meeting, church or meditation hook-ups, whatever place you gather to plan the next play, concert, film.

Fragrance Free Access:

"For folks needing Scent Free spaces, there will be a Fragrance Free Seating Area in the theater near air flow [the first 2 rows on house left] behind which there will be a "Scent Moat" )a row of seats with unscented audience members). Though we cannot guarantee a scent free safe space, we are encouraging audience members to come scent free in all outreach efforts. Beginning Oct 10th, the theater will be using only scent free cleaning products in preparation for our performances on Oct 14-16. There will be scent free hand soap in the restrooms. Ushers will direct scented audience members to the opposite side of the theater from the Fragrance Free Seating Area." - "Sins Invalid Collective Access Update"
